The Van Buren Town Board will be holding a public hearing on May 21 2013 at 7:32 pm to hear comments on discontinuing the contract with the Baldwinsville Fire Dept and trasnferring it to the Lysander Fire District effective May 31 2013. This is the final step in the consolidation process.

A Land Use Committee Meeting has been scheduled for June 11, 2013 at 6:30 pm at the Van Buren Town Hall, 7575 Van Buren Road, Baldwinsville, NY to hear comments from residents about what they would like to see Van Buren look like in the next ten years in conjunction with the revisions to the Comprehensive Plan.

Notice of Claims against the Northern Fire Protection District
Notice is hereby given requiring all claims against the said dissolving of the Northern Fire Protection District, excluding any of its outstainding securities, shall be filed with the Town Clerk of the Town of Van Buren within three months of the date of this notice and all claims not filed shall be forever barred pursuant to General Municipal Law 782,2
