Vehicle Purchases Subject to Permissive Referendum

RESOLUTION SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM

At a regular meeting of the Van Buren Town Board, held at the Town Hall, 7575 Van Buren Road, in said town, County of Onondaga, State of New York, on October 1, 2019 at 7:00 pm, there were:

The Van Buren Town Board authorized the expenditure not to exceed $29,500 for the purchase of a new pick up truck off NYSOGS Mini-Bid #22898, bedliner and rustproofing to be paid for using funds from the Parks & Recreation Equipment Reserve Fund.  A full copy of the authorizing resolution is available for inspection at the office of the Van Buren Town Clerk, 7575 Van Buren Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 during regular business hours of the Town.

Pursuant to Section 90 of Town Law this purchase authorization and expenditure from the Highway Capital Reserve Fund is subject to Permissive Referendum in accordance with Article 7 of the NYS Town Law..

The Van Buren Town Board authorized the expenditure not to exceed $29,000 for the purchase of a new vehicle off Onondaga County Dept. of Purchase Bid #8771 and rustproofing to be paid for using funds from the Code Enforcement Equipment Reserve Fund.  A full copy of the authorizing resolution is available for inspection at the office of the Van Buren Town Clerk, 7575 Van Buren Road, Baldwinsville, NY 13027 during regular business hours of the Town.
