TIME: Summer Playground Program (only): 9:00am.-2:00pm. (Reynolds Site Only)

DETAILS: The Summer Playground Program offers a variety of daily activities at each site including games, arts & crafts, sports, special events, and more! Participation is run on a come-and-go-as-you-please basis, meaning children may attend as frequently or as seldom as they wish. Parents will fill out a form the first day their child attends stating whether the child can leave on their own, needs to be picked up from the program by a parent, etc. There are absolutely no early drop offs before the time you have paid for (please choose your options based upon what you will need)! We will also be charging for late pick-ups this year. For every 15 minutes late, a $10 fee will be incurred, per child. Please realize that our staff have other jobs.
****** WE MUST HAVE AN AQUATICS DIRECTOR IN ORDER FOR THE KIDS TO GO SWIMMING. PRICING WILL NOT INCLUDE POOL PRICES UNTIL EVERYTHING IS IN PLACE. WE WILL ONLY BE TAKING REGISRATION THE PLAYGROUND PROGRAM, AT THIS POINT. IF AND WHEN AN AQUATICS DIRECTOR IS HIRED WE WILL CONTACT EVERYONE. AN ADDITIONAL $45 POOL FEE WILL NEED TO BE COLLECTED BEFORE THE KIDS CAN GO INTO THE POOL.

Town of Van Buren Residents -$140.00 for each child registered ; Non-residents — $165.00 per child registered
Playground Program plus Daycare Extension (Van Buren Park site only) 8:30am-5:00pm and 7:30am-6:00pm
8:30am-5:00pm: Town Residents: $530.00 per child / Non-residents: $555.00 per child (POOL PASS NOT INCLUDED)
7:30am-6:00pm: Town Residents: $600.00 per child / Non-residents: $625.00 per child (POOL PASS NOT INCLUDED)
This fee is not “per week” – it covers the FULL program! We do not pro-rate based on how often your child can attend. Please realize that there was a huge increase in minimum wage this year and the price reflects that change.
RESIDENCY is determined by where a child legally resides throughout the year, not where he or she may be staying for the summer. Children whose parents own property in the Town of Van Buren will also be granted residency status (proof required).
All registrations must take place by mail or in-person at the Parks and Recreation Office prior to participation at the playground sites. No registration is taken by telephone, nor can spots be “held”.
- We will accept registration in-person, by mail or by fax. ALL paperwork MUST be included to be processed, no exceptions. We will not hold spots.
- You will need to have updated vaccine records from your child’s primary care doctor at the time of registration. We will not accept any paperwork without these, nor will we hold your spot.
** IMMUNIZATION RECORDS: Immunization records MUST accompany the playground registration form for each child. We will not accept registration without them. Please contact your doctor’s office now so you are not waiting for them later on!

TIME: 9:00am – 2:00pm (regular hours)
8:30am – 5:00pm (extended hours I)

FEE: $80.00 for each participant (regular hours) /session- Pool fees included
$100.00 for each participant (extended hours: 8:30am-5:00pm)/session – Pool fees included
$110.00 for each participant (extended hours: 7:30am-6:00pm)/session – Pool fees included

DETAILS: This camp will offer a variety of daily activities at each site including games, arts & crafts, sports and more! Children must remain on site unless picked up by an adult. The camp will be held rain or shine. Participants must pack a bag lunch and a drink each day. ALL kids go to the pool from 12:30-5:00/6:00pm on days that are nice. Please realize there is very limited shade at the pool. Please pack sunscreen with the children!

** Refunds: Participants can cancel out of the program up until 6/20/2022 (you will receive half of the original price back). We will not issue any refunds after 6/20/2022.
